A stay at Santa Cruz's newest luxury B&B, the elegant seaside West Cliff Inn, just got even sweeter. Beginning this week, guests can take advantage of the "Summer Fun in the Sun" deal, which offers free access to the nearby Santa Cruz Boardwalk and many of its offerings. This includes unlimited rides all day long, such as a spin on the famed Giant Dipper wooden coaster, and admission to one of two attractions, like Desperados, an interactive old Western saloon, or the laser tag arena.
Perched on a scenic bluff just across the way from Cowell's Beach, the three-story Victorian is a historic property that recently underwent a remodel. Today, the inn boasts nine rooms, each of which is outfitted with a king bed, flat-screen TV and DVD player, free Internet, iPod dock and fireplace. Some have decks and/or hot tubs.
"Summer Fun in the Sun" includes one night's stay in the room of your choice, two all-day unlimited wristbands for the boardwalk, a buffet breakfast, afternoon wine and hors d'oeuvres, and complimentary use of the inn's bicycles. Packages range from $250 for a king room to $325 for a superior and are offered Sunday through Thursday, from now until Oct. 31.
