The "Tiny Houses" Movement

By

A trend San Franciscans have long been touting, tiny houses (and small space living in general) is truly becoming a bit of a phenomenon across the country. Consider it the polar-opposite to the McMansions of the 90s; tiny house dwellers aim to reduce not only their home's physical footprint, but its carbon one, too. Mimi Zeigler has chronicled the movement and now shares some of the most unique and interesting small homes in the world (all under 1000 square feet, of course) in her new tome, Tiny Houses. Meet the author and get a copy of the book signed this Wednesday, 6 to 8PM at Rare Device.
