This Fourth of July, we'll be combining our love for the outdoors with our love of refreshing cocktails.

Caley Shoemaker, head distiller of Hangar 1 Vodka, worked closely with local cookbook author and founder of The Forest Feast Erin Gleeson to create this perfect ode to the great outdoors. Pair it with a hike through some redwoods for an weekend you won't soon forget, or bring it to your friend's summer cookout— it pairs well with pretty much everything.

The Green Gimlet

Makes 1

2 oz. Hangar 1 Straight Vodka

Juice from one lime

Ice

1. Combine all the ingredients and stir together.

2. Pour into a tumbler and garnish with a lime wedge, cucumber slice, and fresh mint.
