Let the Tailgating Begin

James Beard Award–winning chef Michael Mina and his team from Bourbon Steak and Bourbon Pub are ready to kick off their fourth season of Michael Mina's Tailgate at Levi's Stadium. You'll find bloody mary bars, two-story rotisseries turning out jidori chicken and 250-pound slabs of Wagyu beef, not to mention Maine lobster rolls, oysters, and more—it's kind of insane. Additionally, MM flies in guest chefsto cook for each game. This year, look out for Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo of L.A.'s Animal; Drew Nieporent of New York's Tribeca Grill, Nobu, and Batard; Charlie Palmer; and Mike Solomonov of Philadelphia's Zahav restaurant. // Levi's Stadium, 4900 DeBartolo Way (Santa Clara), levisstadium.com.

Eat & Drink in Tahoe

If you need another excuse to make the trek to Lake Tahoe, head for Northstar's annual Autumn Food & Wine Festival. There'll be tons of fun events, including a mixology class, a family-style mountainside dinner with Ritz-Carlton chef Mark Jeffers, a grand tasting, culinary competition, Champagne brunch, and much more. // Sept. 8-10 at at Northstar California; tickets are available at eventbrite.com.

Happy Hour @ Flores

Adriano Paganini's Mexican restaurant Floreshas cooked up a new happy hour menu with $3 tacos—chef Luis Flores grinds his masa in house and stuff the tortillas with carnitas and fried avocado—$5 micheladas and $7 margaritas (with pitcher options for good measure). // 4-6pm Monday-Fridays; 2030 Union St (Cow Hollow), floressf.com

Tacos for Texas

Wondering what you can do to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey? Join Christian Ciscle of Lower Haight's Wing Wings as he gathers the San Francisco food community for a Tacos for Texas, a fundraiser for the San Antonio Food Bank. There'll be Filipino fusion from Senor Sisig, soul food from Minnie Bells, Papalote's with his incredible salsa, Richie Nakano (who will hopefully be doing ramen tacos), and more. There'll also be plenty of beer, queso, and DJs throughout the nigh. // Tuesday Sept. 5th, 5pm-9pm, 422 Haight St (Lower Haight), instagram.com/wingwings
