It's no secret that parking on Valencia street is precious, but if it's to be replaced with a fire pit for roasting marshmallows? Methinks it's worth it. The folks at Dandelion Chocolate are trying to make it happen—and you can help.

Head to their Kickstarter page to pledge your support to transform two parking spaces into an intimate space outside the chocolate factory as part of San Francisco "Pavement-to-Parks" program. Dandelion's digs are stunning, so we've no doubt that a parklet on their dime (Dandelion is matching every dollar earned) will add nothing but beauty to the streetscape, as well as a chic spot for a hot chocolate. Rewards include custom bars, chocolate maker or baker for a day, and desserts like their famous s'more (part of our 2014 Big Eat), natch.
