The Humanitarian Way to Burn Fat

By

Enjoy being outdoors? Need some motivation to turn off Top Design and actually do something? Want to provide people in Africa with clean, safe drinking water? Blue Planet Run is the humanitarian way to burn some fat.

Here is how it works: For a $30 entrance fee you can run, walk or bike 30 miles within a 30-day period (even we can do that). Your entrance fee alone, not including any other funds you can raise from sponsors, is enough to provide a person in Tanzania with clean drinking water for a lifetime…yes, a LIFETIME! And you don’t have to do it alone; you can cover the 30 miles yourself, or you can create a team to split up the miles and ramp up the fun.

Last year, 20 runners ran for 95 days circumnavigating the globe to raise awareness, education and critical funding for Blue Planet Run’s clean drinking water program. To date, this program has provided clean drinking water to over 140,000 people around the world.

While you can help by simply making a donation, just think how great you’ll feel at the end of 30 days, knowing that you have not only gotten in some exercise but that you have helped another person enjoy one of life’s purest pleasures: clean drinking water. We’ll drink to that - and maybe even walk to that!
