SFCASA (SF court-appointed special advocates program) held its board of directors luncheon last week at the Bankers Club-Carnelian Room. Dennis Herrera, city attorney of SF, was the featured speaker and honoree.
According to sfcasa.org, "The Board of Directors Luncheon is held annually to raise funds for SFCASA and to increase community awareness of the plight of San Francisco's abused and neglected children in foster care."
7x7 has selected SFCASA as one of its seven local non-profits in 2007 set up to receive $5 every time someone subscribes for a year's subscription.
