The sun refused to shine, but nobody seemed to care as LovEvolution took over the grounds at the Oakland Coliseum last Sunday. Glitter, glamour, and glitz ruled as attendees danced to electronic acts like The Glitch Mob, Pendulum, and Rob Garza (who you’ll recognize from the always amazing and talented ensemble Thievery Corporation). The largest single-day electronic dance music festival in the United States made a fantastic comeback after a bumpy 2010, when arguments over its location resulted in the event’s cancellation. With stars like world-renowned talent Moby headlining the bill, you can be sure LovEvolution will carry on in Oakland for years to come.
