San Francisco has long been a breeding ground for talented musicians, and thankfully for veteran organizations like the Blue Bear School of Music–which nurtures beginners and helps get seasoned players off their butts and on stage where they belong–that fact isn't likely to fade anytime soon.
To help celebrate and support Blue Bear, join the festivities this May 20th at Bimbo's 365 Club, for their party of the year, The Blue Bear Live VI Youth Music Benefit featuring New Orleans' legends the funky Meters with opening performances by Blue Bear youth bands. Proceeds from the night support Blue Bear's programs–many of which benefit low-income and at-risk kids. You can grab tickets here, or win tickets from us by entering your name and contact info at events@7x7.com by May 15th at noon.
