Arcade Fire Announces 2nd Greek Theatre Show
That little band called Arcade Fire just added a second date at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley on October 3rd, which means redemption for anyone without an American Express card or fast enough clicking fingers to get in on their sold-out-in-one-minute Big Sur show. Hallelujah!
We found out that show sold out so quickly because Eventbrite (Henry Miller Library's ticket provider) accidentally opened the ticket sales a half hour earlier than the scheduled time, during which about half the 400 or so tickets were snatched up immediately. Burn!
The October 3rd tickets go on sale the same day as the October 2nd show tickets do, August 22nd. Alt-Americana band Calexico opens.
The first commented is correct - HML tix were not available early. I,too was on the everbright page at 11:45, and tickets were not released yet.

Your anecdote about Eventbrite opening sales half an hour early is an incredibly quickly created urban myth. I was on the Eventbrite Arcade Fire page at 11:50 and tickets weren't released yet.
