Buraka Som Sistema may just provide the party soundtrack for the summer.  Fresh from Coachella, these Portuguese up-and-comers brought the early week heat wave to new heights at the Rickshaw Stop on Tuesday. Their sound's a blend of African rhythms and 21st century electronics, combining Brazilian samba, European dance hits and familiar hip hop samples with spitfire rhymes in Portuguese.  Their shows are, well, a hot, sweaty, dance party…in a good way.  Check out SPIN Earth's interview with the band and a video below.
