Napa Valley is known for the wine, food, and beautiful views, but there is fantastic shopping here as well. Some of the best finds are in winery gift shops, which are packed with wine-related trinkets and gear that ranges from coasters and wine openers to cycling jerseys and hats. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. 

Downtown St. Helena is, without a doubt, the best boutique shopping in Napa Valley. The main drag is packed with boutiques that are filled with art, jewelry, and pricey apparel. For men's clothing, I recommend Mario’s, and the favorite for ladies is Pearl. The best shoes in Napa Valley can be found at Amelia Claire or the infamous Foot Candy, and Sportago has the classiest and most stylish outerwear in the area. Of course, there are restaurants, galleries, and wine shops here too (don't miss Woodhouse custom chocolates).

V Marketplace in Yountville is touristy, but the high-end one-stop shopping village has a healthy array of gifty spots ranging from Napa Style’s home furnishings and specialty foods to art stores and souvenirs. The historic complex that houses the marketplace was built in 1870 and has a very Ghiradelli Square feel too it. It's surrounded by tasting rooms and restaurants, and is also home to Michael Chiarello’s Bottega and highly acclaimed resorts like The Villagio Inn and Spa, Bardessono and Hotel Yountville.

The Napa Valley “Premium” Outlets are basically what you’d expect from an outlet mall, but with more luxury brands like Coach and Bose. You probably have outlets closer to home, but if you want to pair wine-tasting with your shopping, you’ll be happy here.

The Culinary Institute of America at Graystone (CIA) is a spectacular historic building that looks like a castle and has one of the most extravagant cooking stores. Taking one of the classes they offer to the public is a great way to justify buying one of the shiny cooking toys they have in the shop. There are tons of holiday ideas that pair cooking classes, books, and wine. They also have just about every professional or home blender, slicer, dicer, knife set and cookbook you can imagine.

Downtown Napa has long been a minefield of discount shoe stores and nail salons peppered with the occasional boutique, but that’s changing fast. Oxbow Public Market is packed with great places to eat, gift shops, and Main Street, Pearl Street, and 1st Street have a growing number of specialty boutiques ranging from Vineyard Dog to Cake Plate Boutique. The big news around here is that Napa Town Center, our main outdoor shopping and hospitality complex that runs along First Street in the heart of historic downtown, is about to undergo a much needed ace lift with  sought-after local, regional and national brands.
