It may or may not even be on VHS in your parents' attic. But now it's time to spread the Nutcracker love to YouTube. The SF Ballet is running a pretty inspired marketing campaign to drum up excitement for every girl's favorite ballet. It's a video contest for the best 65-second creative representation of The Nutcracker. So gather some snowflakes, a flexible/high-jumping boy or two and maybe a large stuffed bear and take out your Clara-envy on video. The winners get some pretty sweet prizes, including a trip for four to Aspen (!), a weekend getaway at The Fairmont and tickets to SF Ballet performances. Check out the official site for details.
