Oak NYC Thinks SF Is A.OK

By

Despite all the amazing boutiques and emerging fashion designers our fair city has to offer, we still can't help but feel a tinge of envy when visiting the Big Apple...largely as a result of stepping into Oak NYC.

We've been diehard fans of the insanely hip boutique for quite some time, so needless to say we were over the moon when they launched a diffusion line of edgy basics, aptly named A.OK, with all pieces retailing under $100.

So where are we going with all this woe-is-me, we-want-Oak NYC babble? To The Seventh Heart.

Yes, Oak is launching their very first A.OK pop-up shop in the Market St. boutique this Thursday, bringing their largely unisex go-to wares along with them.

From 7-10 p.m., you can expect to find every self-respecting PYT in the city shopping, sipping cocktails and shimmying to the beats of DJ Christopher Runyonce and Jason Kendig. But the party doesn't end there...after all, they are from the city that never sleeps.

The after-party is at the ever infamous Tubesteak Connection at one of our absolute favorite dives, Aunt Charlie's Lounge. So snag a cheap (and stiff) cocktail and show off your new duds on the dance floor.

Or, if that isn't your thing, there's always the claw machine.

A.OK Pop-Up Shop Launch Party, 7-10 p.m. at The Seventh Heart, 1592 Market St.; After-Party, 10 p.m-2 a.m. at Aunt Charlie's Lounge, 133 Turk St.
