This Sunday, opera takes Hippie Hill back from the drum circles. Spread out a blanket in Golden Gate Park for a leisurely afternoon of opera floating through the trees to soothe your soul before another work week.
Festivities start at 1:30 pm, so pack a picnic (food and drinks will also be available there) and partners in crime to experience the stars of the SF Opera's fall season with. Micaela Carosi, Danielle de Niese, Heidi Stober, Michèle Losier, Dolora Zajick, Marcello Giordani, Ramón Vargas, Lucas Meachem, Brian Mulligan, Marco Vratogna, Luca Pisaroni and many more will serenade the crowds, conducted by the opera's musical director Nicola Luisotti.
