Anyone who reads 7x7.com on the regular knows how much we love animals. Welcome to our new series "Meet Your New Best Friend," with the support of the animal lovers at K9 Scrub Club. It's a weekly chance for you to find your star-crossed furry friend and learn about different animal rescue agencies while you're at it.

This week, we're woking with one of the coolest dog rescue organizations around: BADRAP. They are dedicated to helping pit bulls and their owners by raising awareness about the breed and debunking harmful myths about pitbulls. Meet Jimmy (top) and Oscar (bottom), who are both pit bull mixes and fixed. Read their backstories below, and get in contact with BADRAP at donna@badrap.org to adopt one or both of these pups!

Jimmy: This elegant chap is an older gentleman, but full of pep. He's got long, beautiful legs and lovely brindle markings. He knows all his obedience and is eager to show it off.  Jimmy's such a good boy, but he's been breaking our hearts because he's been acting sort of 'lost' since he came to our Rescue Barn. We look forward to seeing him finally find a home where he can get his bearings and find that bond that he seems to be looking for. Can you be his retirement plan?

Oscar: Born this past January, this young fellow LOVES obedience work and will laser beam you with his brown little eyes, waiting for your next comment. Oscar is by nature a tender heart who wants to be a mama's boy. He'd love to live with another dog or dogs, and cats would be fine too. Don't let this cuddler get away – he's born to be someone's handsome little heart throb.
