Though this is the no-brainer spot in town for cakes, cookies and Falkner’s elaborate composed desserts, it would be a shame to miss the fine, fresh California cuisine, such as Sonoma’s Liberty duck with lentils or Eel River grass-fed steak with mushroom ice cream. Weekend brunch brings in the crowds, eager to chow down on whimsically named dishes such as “Kaiser roll housing fried egg, bacon, avocado, gruyere, mayo sandwich goodness.”
