SCENE:
With just a few stools and a counter, what barely qualifies as a restaurant is a destination for sausage lovers from all over the city. Aficionados often double-park and run in for a fix, but those who want something other than root beer to drink park themselves at Toronado, the bar next door, to pair a pint with their dog.
EATS:
The sausages here are grilled, and the buns are quality. With classics such as bratwurst, Rosamunde is a place for traditionalists, but more out-there sausages (chicken-cherry or wild boar) are also offered. If you like spicy, both the beer sausage and the andouille are musts. Toppings range from house-made pepper relish to grilled onions and sauerkraut.
