This cavernous former warehouse unites Globe’s Joseph Manzare with tequila expert Julio Bermejo of Tommy’s Mexican Restaurant for a winning combination of great food and great tequila. Giants fans from the ballpark across the street and downtowners ready for an after-work drink head for the bar.

EATS:

Specialties from Jalisco, the region in Mexico from which blue agave hails, are the focus of the menu. Entrées include birria (roasted goat in tomato-chile broth) and earthy huitlacoche-stuffed chiles rellenos. With plenty of tequilas to choose from, it’s all too easy to put out the flames with the house specialty, an unsalted margarita on the rocks.
