SCENE:

Hawthorne Lane’s transformation into Two is complete. A broad concrete and copper bar and an oversized communal table now fill the front room, and hanging coconut lights and woven-reed window coverings give the space an eclectic, vaguely tropical feel.

EATS:

There’s an Alice’s restaurant thing going on here: You can get just about anything you want. The large menu is broken into six categories, from “appetizers and charcuterie” to “vegetables and the like.” The spaghetti with sea urchin, brown garlic, chili and parsley is particularly crave-worthy, and the iconic iceberg-wedge salad with St. Agur blue-cheese dressing hits all the right marks. The food is cocktail- and nibble-friendly, making it the perfect post-work respite.
