We've all been there: You have a free night on the calendar and would love to see...something. Hit a hot gallery opening, check out an experimental performance. But you're not sure what or where to look. So how do you get your culture fix in the Bay Area? Join an online club and get access delivered right to your door. We live in the tech capital, after all.

Launched in December 2017 by Manhattan ex-pat Meena Bhasin, Reveler is online an arts and culture concierge that promises to keep you connected to the arts scene with monthly tickets to the best events in San Francisco. Sign up for your $100 monthly membership, plug in your personal preferences and availability, and then look out for a surprise pair of tickets each month for a specially selected show along with a Reveler's Guide, playlists and video related to the show. Reveler also offers tips on dress code and where to eat and drink nearby—it's a night out on the town made easy.

"Being a musician, I'm personally really hungry to see more young people engage with the arts in San Francisco," says 33-year old Bhasin, a professional violist who also founded Decoda, a society of virtuoso chamber musicians, educators and art advocates. (She also teaches at the New York Philharmonic and is a frequent performer with the Orchestra of St. Luke's.)

"It seems to me that people are interested in being cultured, but they often face two challenges: a lack of familiarity with the arts, and a lack of time to discover events they want to attend."

Before launching Reveler, Bhasin spent a year going to local concerts, art openings and performances, seeking better ways to create engagement with the local arts scene. Her goal is to offer a curated selection of arts, making Reveler feel like your cooler-than-you friend who always has the skinny on what's hot.

"Being an artist myself, my goal is to make arts and culture a part of people's daily lives," she says.

In addition to curating shows from around town, this month Reveler begins offering exclusive events for subscribers on January 19th with a classical chamber music and jazz concert featuring NYC-based virtuoso trumpeter Brandon Ridenour and pianist Peter Dugan at a private Pacific Heights home. // $100 per month, reveler.club.
