For this week's Scenes of the City we hung out at Fisherman's Wharf capturing the festivities of our nations birthday. The weather cooperated and everyone was out in droves.

A young man sits on the beach at Aquatic Cove enjoying the lengthy fireworks show.

Anticipation was palpable for this youngster waiting for the show to begin.

Lots of pre-show antics on beach filled the time.

The three most important flags in California; the Giants flag, our state flag and the old red white and blue.

Fisherman's Wharf was a constant parade of all sorts.

When in doubt, dance it out.

Fireworks light up several small boats mid cove.

More peeps out enjoying the festivities.

Fly it any way you want, just don't let it touch the ground.

Up close and personal.

And with a final blast it was over.
