Lots of us have camped on our roofs and maybe even in our living rooms, but not many of us have set up camp at Rob Hill Campgrounds in the Presidio–the city's only overnight campsite.
It sits in the midst of a towering eucalyptus grove on the Presidio's highest point, just above Baker Beach. Making s'mores over a fire, barbecuing, hiking, and waking up in the morning to the sounds of nature will totally make you forget you're in the middle of San Francisco–and that's definitely something we all need sometimes.
