Every year-changing eve, the burners, nu-hippies and party lovers come out for this enormous hoe-down in the cavernous Concourse Center. Spectacle is the name of the game: take in dancers, artwork and mini-environments for both chilling and carousing. Paint the town and get down at City Hall? Call it a New Year’s Eve ball of the most stately variety. Andy Caldwell takes over the North Light Court with progressive and soulful house, while DJ Spider blends the latest bangers with R&B classics ala “Sexual Healing” in the Rotunda.
