Street Style Report: A Bold Mix of Spring Prints, in Union Square

By

It's all about lipstick and prints for Nisha Btesh.

We weren't surprised to hear this lively, print-savvy darling works for Kate Spade in Union Square. We caught her during a break, and were instantly won over by her amazing smile (not to mention, she has the coolest name ever!).

What she wore:  H&M thick rim glasses; Polka-dot top from Forever 21; Kate Spade necklace, floral skinny pants, watch and bracelet; Zara patent oxfords; Sephora brand lip stain in "Rouge"; Butter nail laquer.

"I'm super into scrambling together outfits full of highs and lows," said Nisha. "I have some key players from Marc Jacobs, Kate Spade and DVF that I mix with thrift store finds from Goodwill, Wasteland and other random vintage shops."

"Overalls are trending," said Nisha. "I'm on the hunt for a serious pair that I can live in all summer."

Seven Questions for Nisha:

1. What's your greatest style secret?

Lipstick, lipstick, lipstick! Did I say lipstick?

2. What products can you not live without?

NARS and MAC are my go-to's for makeup. My new "get ready quick" items have to be the bun maker from H&M, and the "Rouge" Lip Stain (that I'm wearing in the photos) from Sephora. I use the Cindy Crawford face lotion and tinted serum and can't go a day without it, but no matter what brand -- moisturizing is essential!

For fragrances I love Badgley Mischka, Armani Code, Crystal Noir by Versace and, of course, my new favorite, Live Colorfully by Kate Spade.

3. What's on your wish list?

Super easy -- I have been dying for this pair of Frisia Suede Slingbacks by Rupert Sanderson

4. How do you de-stress?

Yoga and/or a cocktail...or three. (I like a Grey Goose martini, dry, extra dirty, with two olives. )

5. What's one thing at Kate Spade that every girl should own?

No brainer! Most definitely our new scent! It's called Live Colorfully and it was introduced to me as a modern, sparkling, floral, meant to move with a woman through the arc of her day. It's my summer must have for sure!

6. What's sexy to you?

To me, sexy is knowing exactly who you are and making no excuses for it. Sexy is leading with that sense of confidence instead of your looks...but a great red lipstick and sky high stilettos never hurt anybody!

7. What's your SF Top 5?

-Waterbar is the best place to be for happy hour on a sunny day.

-Straw is the perfect date spot. Order the donut burger and request to sit in their ferris wheel booth.

-Local Edition has a speakeasy-lounge type of feel and awesome cocktails.

-Bar Bocce is a ferry ride away and is my favorite place to go with a big group because they do big, delicious pitchers of sangria, unique pizza combos and have a bocce court, fireplace and outside seating right on the water.

-Walking into the Redwood Room at The Clift Hotel is like walking into a magical wonderland, and always has a great energy to it.
