Calling all makers! The biannual Renegade SF Craft Fair is coming back to town for its holiday show. Enjoy quality handmade goods from 250 talented arts-and-crafters, workshops with Woodcut Maps and Indie Mart, music and food - there will even be a photobooth to capture the fun througout the weekend. Check out designs by locally-made SF goods like jewelry by An Astrid Endeavor, custom gifts from Leafcutter Designs, letterpress cards by Dutch Door Press, and wall hangings and cheese boards made by Dave Marcoullier. Free to attend - which means more cash to spend! December 21 + 22, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Concourse Exhibition Center, 635 8th St, San Francisco.

SF-based design firm Aidlin Darling Design is thoughtful and meticulous when it comes to collaborating with clients, fabricators, consultants, and builders to imagine projects in a detailed, rich, and poetic manner. Called SITE & SENSES: The Architecture of Aidlin Darling Design, the exhibit at the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art and will be a feast for the senses; look, listen, touch, test, and imagine your way through the many stages of designing and building a masterpiece. Immerse yourself in models, sketches, renderings, full-scale mock ups, furniture, photographs, and video as you discover the way Aidlin Darling sees the structure of the world. Runs December 21, 2013 through March 2, 2014. Sonoma Valley Museum of Art, 551 Broadway, Sonoma. General admission: $5, Family admission: $8, Students 18 and younger: free.
