Don't get your hopes up; this humble abode was already snapped up by a pair of people far richer than you could ever hope to be. Behold the most expensive single-family home sale in San Francisco history, whose new owners are Alexis and Trevor Traina. Curbed reports that last month, this 11,000 square-foot piece of the famed Billionaire's Row was sold for a cool $35 million, or $3,182 per square foot. It was designed by Frederick H. Meyer (one of SF's most storied architects), and owning this hot piece makes the Trainas (SF royalty in their own right) neighbors with Larry Ellison and a few Gettys. And if the Trainas don't already have a wine collection, now they have reason to get one started–their new home has a 3,000 bottle capacity wine cellar just waiting to be filled.
