Go Inside SoMa’s Stunning SPARC Cannabis Club

Designer Larissa Sand took inspiration from old apothecaries when designing the San Francisco Patient and Resource Center (SPARC). The handcrafted dovetail oak bins, which contain different strains of medical cannabis, are arranged on a floating steel shelving system, as are the trays of seedlings.

We've long been smitten with the uber-chic SoMa cannabis club SPARC (San Francisco Patient and Resource Center). Designed by Larissa Sand of San Francisco’s Sand Studios, the dispensary is one of the city's most stunning spaces, and now it has won one of California Home + Design’s coveted 2012 Design Awards for Commercial Design. The winners of the annual awards were announced last night as a part of Design SF. San Francisco design firms jones|haydu, Surfacedesign, John Lum Architecture, Jeffers Design Group and Feldman Architecture also took home awards.

Take a peek inside SPARC and head over to California Home + Design for the full tour and to see all of the winners.
