BloomThat's Flower Crowns Finish Off Your Style for Outside Lands
Do you have everything in order for this weekend’s glorious and chilly music festival in Golden Gate Park? Maintenance on your bike so that late night ride home doesn’t go awry: check. Three days’ worth of ironic, clever, and (hopefully) unique graphic tees to make fellow festival goers pause: check. Locker rental secured: check. Now’s the time to check out last minute additions to cap off your festival style.
SF-based Blu Kicks is sending anyone who purchases a pair of their super comfy, environmentally friendly, colorful canvas slip ons extra shoe inserts to keep your feet supported what with all that walking between the Sutro and Land’s End stages and jumping and pumping at Chromeo’s set. The deal runs through Sunday.
Now that you have your feet taken care of, consider your crowning glory, your head. Two different flower purveyors are offering different takes on the accessory du jour, flowers in your hair. If you spend $200 or more at the Joie on Fillmore in Lower Pac Heights, Farmgirl Flowers will be on hand Thursday between 7-8pm to help you craft your floral tiara. To take part, you need to RSVP by the end of today to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Starting today, flowery favorite BloomThat is selling flower crowns specifically for Outside Lands. Preorder online, for $40 and pick them up at the BloomThat booth on the festival grounds. Currently, they’re selling light and airy baby’s breath garlands and promise to offer two other styles during the three festival days.
Now, if only someone would be so kind as to make a flower beard for dudes like me to sport at the shows I'd be all set.
