Do Good Baubles: Robindira Unsworth's Madres Collaboration
Revered Petaluma designer Robindira Unsworth is taking her jewelry to a new, socially responsible level that speaks to her background in social services. Launching now is the collab with the Madres Collective, an org that teams U.S. designers with artisans in the Dominican and Haitian communities to make jewelry that is then sold stateside.
100% of proceeds go to the women in the collective, who use the money to support their families and help pay for their childrens’ education. Inspired by the tropical landscape of the Dominican Republic, the pieces in the collection range from $25 – $150 and are being sold at the Robindira Unsworth Boutique in Petaluma as well as online.
