Street Style Report: Clean Lines and Subtle Details in Lower Pac Heights

Photos by Melissa Carpio

You know it's really good when you want a guy's entire outfit in girl sizes. We spotted healthcare worker J.R. David in what we're calling the perfect jacket, enviable Celine slip-ons (pre-stormy weather, of course), and more -- all of which just got added to our want list.

What He Wore: Marc Jacobs for amfAR t-shirt; APC jacket; Barton Perreira Dillinger sunglasses, purchased from eBay; Hi Ho Silver ring; Givenchy crossbody bag; Celine pony hair slip-on sneakers.

JR's Product Picks: "Noxzema skin cleanser, hella SPF and water, and Serge Lutens Santal Majuscule fragrance."

"I think I'm gonna be one of those eccentric old people who wears hella silver," said J.R.

In His Bag: "Wallet, keys, phone, sunglasses, candy, whatever book I'm currently reading. I'm bewildered by guys who can fit all their stuff in their pockets -- how?"

Seven Questions for JR:

1. What's one thing on your wish list?

Hermes Cape Cod watch.

2. What's one thing most people don't know about you?

I eat obscene amounts of sweets. I've been told it's disturbing.

3. What's would you never be caught dead in?

Crocs. Seriously, those belong in the hospital and the hospital alone. Although, I wonder if Phoebe Philo made Celine crocs, would people find them stylish?

4. What's on your bucket list?

To take a year off work and just travel with my guy.

5. I'm a __________ guy.

I'm an 'it's in the details' guy.

6. What would be your preferred last meal on Earth?

My mama's cooking, the best fried chicken out there, and an In-N-Out Neapolitan milkshake on tap.

7. What's your SF Top 5?

Arinell Pizza, Huntington Park, Basil at Joe's Barbershop, Jonathan Adler and the de Young Museum.
