Oakland's vintage boutique of bohemian treasures, Halmoni, hosts a First Friday art opening and reception including drinks and signature cupcakes. Tonight features the work of Oakland-based muralist Dave Young Kim and live music Mohani. 7:30 - 10 p.m. 1601 2nd Ave @ E. 16th, Oakland.

Ok, it's not exactly fashion (style, yes), but if you haven’t noticed the stylish living wall in Lower Haight’s Maven, go now (and sip one of their fancy cocktails as you take it all in). The peeps behind the wall are none other than the lovely Flora Grubb Gardens, purveyor of an amazing array of succulents among its other greenery. Lucky for you, they’ve got a sale going this weekend to get you started on spring planting. Quattro, the restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley, presents fashion inspiration for spring at its "Saturdays at Quattro, Where Fashion Meets Indulgence" event. A trunk show and reception highlights Palo Alto designer Camilla Olson and Stanford's Gleim the Jeweler. Expect classic concepts with modern style, and designs that seamlessly go from day to night.
