Sneak-A-Freak

LA-based streetwear company The Hundreds has quite the following (see photos taken from the store’s opening day in the TenderNob yesterday, by yours truly). From 10 a.m. until early evening, a long line could be spotted down the block — crowds of sneaker heads dressed in Huf hats and Nike Air Jordan’s — waiting to enter the shop that managed to stir up an air of mystery with its black paper-covered windows and its steel doors guarded by employees.

1G Collection Handbags

As far as accessories go, this has decidedly been the year of the clutch. The handle-free bag once relegated to the realm of eveningwear has rightfully claimed its place as an appropriate option for broad daylight. The perfect clutch, then, is the rare breed that can go the distance, taking the working girl (and all her Blackberry-pushing, cell-carrying might) from a hectic day at the office to an after-hours cocktail soiree (and in this city, there are plenty!).

Vintage Fashion Expo

The Vintage Fashion Expo is a treasure trove for clotheshorses and fashion devotees, but for someone who is easily distracted, like me, it can be overwhelming (in a good way). This weekend, the Nob Hill Masonic Center was transformed into a vintage lover’s dream: 85 clothing and accessories dealers ready to outfit you in all sorts of goodies.
