Alite Designs Launches New Sea-Themed Pop-Up Featuring Local Artists

By

Alite Designsthe SF-based adventure gear company that brought us the Sexy Hotness sleeping bags (they can be zipped together for easier, er, cuddling) and Best of SF Winner, The Outpost—is teaming up with local makers to open up a beach-themed pop-up in the Sunset district. And we're super stoked.

The Alite Sea Stackwill showcase collections of beach-themed lifestyle goods, as well as host workshops, events, and art shows in the Salty Dog Gallery, a living-room style art space inside the shop. Featuring local makers and creators who can easily be spotted hanging out on Ocean Beach, this cutesy pop-up will have something for every beachbomber.

Local brands—including Sunski, Essential Oils, Gravel & Gold, Rumpl, Oru Kayak, Blood & Bolts, Susan Hoff, Nipomo and Scrapdog Skateboards—will showcase products including everything from UVA/B protection to breeze-worthy apparel and beach tackle that encourages more time at the beach this summer.

Alite will also release a limited run of much-loved Bike to the Beach Bags as well as a new Made in California Lawn Chair, only available at the Alite Sea Stack.

Check out their grand opening party Staurday, July 11 from 6– 9pm with cocktails and deals to celebrate a summer spent by the (albeit foggy) sea.
