As the sun set over Union Square, San Francisco’s fashionistas gathered on the fifth floor of Saks Fifth Avenue for an evening highlighting the best of spring beauty and fashion. With a cocktail in hand, attendees grabbed their seats along the runway for a presentation on the most sought-after fashion and beauty trends this season. Experts from SK-II, Jo Malone, Nars, Tom Ford, Radical Skincare, and Chanel discussed their tips and tricks for mastering a glowy, spring look, while 7x7 editors Brock Keeling and Chloe Harris Hennen presented some favorite wardrobe trends. Among them: Athleisure featured Vince slip-on sneakers, perfect for running about town; fringe was perfect for summer music festivals; and a beaded mini skirt was ideal for date night.
One lucky guest won a $500 Saks shopping experience, and all guests were invited to shop and explore the runway looks and latest contemporary trends while staying fueled with passed hors d’oeuvres. The team from QuickeeCam was onsite, encouraging guests to strike an Instagram-worthy pose in their interactive photobooth. Keeping with the theme of spring, bartenders served up fresh, thirst-quenching signature cocktails featuring Cointreau and Mount Gay Rum in addition to cooling wines, refreshing ginger beer, and bubbly.
