The SF Decorator Showcase Shacks Up in a 1916 Presidio Heights Manor

The San Francisco Decorator Showcase has been inspiring design enthusiasts since 1977, when Nan Rosenblatt and Philip Fernandez first conceived of the event to raise funds for San Francisco University High School. This year, the showcase is unrolling rugs and hanging drapes in a 1916 Presidio Heights manor designed by famed Bay Area architect Julia Morgan.

At last year's event, designer Antonio Martins wowed visitors with his master bedroom (above), a beautiful intersection of 17th- and 21st-century style. This April, Candace Barnes revamps the entryway and stairwell, and Will Wick will bestow his signature “organic modern” aesthetic—distinguished by distressed leather, live-edge wood, and metal accents—upon the master bedroom.

Other designers include Allison Caccoma (who will take on the twin's music room), Tineke Triggs (master bedroom), Cecilie Starin (dining room), and Eche Martinez (gentleman's lounge). The house is located at 3036 Jackson Street in San Francisco. Stayed tuned in April for more images from the annual designer extravaganza.
