Retailers are scrambling to open in San Francisco before the holiday season, including Warby Parker. The brand has teased us in the past with pop-ups in San Francisco, and now, finally, we're getting our very own outpost. Look for the New York eyeglass company to open shop at 357 Hayes Street on November 25, and keep an eye out for limited-edition Keene sunglasses exclusive to the SF store.

Alton Lane is officially open before the holidays: the men's custom suit brand has opened its storefront at 499 Jackson Street, replete with a 3D body scanner, personalized fittings, and a fully stocked bar. Book an appointment here.

Makers Market is hosting a holiday pop-up shop at the Westfield Mall (875 Market St.), on Wednesday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, look for bloggers from A Side of Sweet, Pancake Stacker and Perfect 10, who will be hosting an opening reception. Shop American-made men's and women's clothing, home goods, jewelry, and more while enjoying refreshments.

Three San Francisco fashion enthusiasts were inspired by their bottle delivery boy in Paris during fashion week to launch Les Mechantes, an online retailer of chic, ethically made clothing. The offerings include wool capes, Sutro boots, and some very cute bow-ties.

Alternative, formerly known as Alternative Apparel, is celebrating Levi's California Collection with music and beverages on Thursday, November 20 from 7pm to 10pm. It's one of the few places outside of Japan where you can buy these '60s-inspired duds.

And it's dueling Levi's parties! Also on November 20, Mill Mercantile invites you to celebrate the launch of the Levi's Made & Crafted fall/winter collection. Stop by 3751 24th Street between 6 and 8pm (so really you can attend both) for drinks (Scribe winery is a sponsor), music and prizes, plus pick up a complimentary lookbook, created in collaboration with Wilder magazine. Also look out for an interactive floral installation by Birch—that alone will be worth the price of admission, which is free.

The new Sui Generis women's store is now open at 2147 Union Street for your shopping pleasure. Look for beautiful vintage pieces from Hermes, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Givenchy and lots more. Also watch out for their new website coming soon.

Just in time for the holidays, Megan Stacy ofSalty Fox Jewelry has released a new collection and a sexy new lookbook to go with it. The Nico ring and the bolo-style necklaces are getting a prominent place on our Christmas lists.

If you're looking to get crafty with your gift-giving this holiday, you might want to sit in on Mission boutique Gravel and Gold's beeswax candle dipping workshop this Thursday from November 20 from 7 to 9pm. For $75, you'll get all the materials and instruction you need to take home your own hand-dipped set of candles. Or, try the macrame workshop on December 4. It's from 7pm to 9pm, and $90 will get you materials and instruction from Los Angeles Jo Abellera of KKIBO, and you'll take home wall-hanging made with your own two hands.
