So many book sales, so little time. If you hit up the SF Public Library's 50th anniversary book sale this past weekend, get ready for more: it's spring cleaning time over at our sister company Chronicle Books, which is holding its annual Spring Warehouse Book Sale this weekend.
Chronicle Books is the city's purveyor of chic and fascinating titles, and hundreds of their best ones will be 65% off starting this Thursday and Friday, from 9 am-7 pm through Saturday, from 10 am to 3 pm.
Hot off the heels of the Friends of the SF Public Library's massive book sale in late September, our sister company Chronicle Books is staging a sprawling sale of titles this weekend to add to your growing collection of rainy day books. Score awesome deals on hundreds of books from their warehouse, all a staggering 65% off their normal price.
Feel like your library is missing a something but aren't sure what? Head over to Fort Mason this weekend for the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library Big Book Sale and you'll probably walk out with more than you thought you were ever missing. The sale, held at the Fort Mason Center's Festival Pavilion, will offer over 300,000 books, CDs, DVDs, and books on tape. The festival is free and open to the public and all books are priced at $5 or less. All proceeds from the sale go to the SFPL's various community literacy programs, so your scavenging through stacks will be for a good cause. As an added bonus, the sale will also have the Beat Museum On Wheels parked outside, so if you start to get glassy-eyed from staring at spines, you can take a mini-tour of beat history.
