City Hall Wedding Gives Nod to Simple Pleasures

From dress to wedding party, Juli and Peter's wedding had fashionably simplistic down to a tee. Focusing on the love between the two of them, the Baker-Fischer nuptials featured old-timey accents mixed with San Franciscan hipster. With an ivory and gold gown, with hints of old Hollywood starlet, Juli glowed as the bride to Peter's relaxed and dapper groom.

Nick and Victoria Gutierrez let their favorite decade inspire their ceremony at San Francisco City Hall. A relaxed 1920's-themed wedding evolved into a larger reception the following day where guests danced the night away at a "speak-easy" bar.

Crackin’ Up: Laguna Honda Crab Feed Fundraiser

It was a rollicking good time on Friday out at the Irish Cultural Center when Supervisor Sean Elsbernd hosted his 2nd annual Crab Feed Fundraiser.

“Well the first one was actually for my re-election campaign,” said Elsbernd, laughing. “But  this year supports one of the great, city-wide institutions in District 7 -- Laguna Honda Hospital.”
