2 Style Showdowns Have Local Bloggers, Stylists & Designers Vying for Fashion Dominance

The pursuit of style gets competitive in the coming days with the arrival of two spring style showdowns pitting local bloggers, stylists, designers and models against one another to vie for fashion dominance.

Fashion Feud: Live Project Runway-Style Designer Duel at Rickshaw Stop

Designers stealing chiffon? Models pulling hair? Fashionistas being fashionistas? We all love a good cat fight, and the best fashion brawls happen right on the catwalk.

Tomorrow night the gloves are coming off at Rickshaw Stop, with the return of SF's Fashion Feud: Part 1, our very own Project Runway-style designer duel.

Designers Crystal Hermann and Mary Yanez will get one hour to cut, sew and "make it work" at the first of four 2011 Fashion Feud events. Then it's up to the models, Caitlyn MacClennan and Jennifer Lazorack, to strut their new designer duds in the walk-off.

It’s So On: Fashion Feud Final Challenge

Five months in the making, the final Fashion Feud competition taking place tomorrow night at Mighty brings together three local designers for an on-stage style showdown – all of which unfolds before onlookers’ eyes in just an hour’s time.

Launched in September by fashion and art event producer Owen Geronimo, who’s also leading the charge to revive San Francisco Fashion Week, the Project Runway-inspired competition features the winners of the three previous rounds: Julia Meeks, Gail B. Shrive and Alexandria Von Bromssen.
