Look of the Week: Wedding Guest, 7 Dresses Under $250

Whether you're attending a vintage-themed DIY garden wedding or a royal-esque affair at Grace Cathedral, just remember:  no white! It's the bride's day to wear white and truly stand out, so let her.

Look of the Week: Snappy Sailor for Bay to Breakers 100th Annual Celebration this Sunday

Note:  this one's definitely for the non-runners out there! If you're heading to the Bay to Breakers' 100th Anniversary 12k to drink, dazzle, and well, not run, then we have a lovely little outfit for you.

Borderline costumey, 100% wearable-cute -- this sailor-themed ensemble will earn many a glance, while keeping you nice and chic. Tip that hat, buckle those shiny blue shoes, and go nuts with the all-over glitter spray. Madness awaits!

Look of the Week: Sick Day

A number of nasty bugs are circling around SF right now. And what, with the up-and-down weather, and sneezes going off like BBMs on MUNI, catching something is almost inevitable. Do yourself a favor and be ready to take a sick day

We know it's really tough -- staying in, having soup, and the watching the last season of Oprah -- so find rescue in the coziest of outfits. Slouchy-cute sweats, a simple tank, and a great cashmere sweater are essentials for any lazy day. For the super sick gal, keep those toes warm with heated polar bear slippers, ensure lots of rest with a fun eye-mask, and don't forget to keep drinking liquids. Basically, rest up, stay warm, have a little fun, and get well soon.

Look of the Week: SF Indiefest Roller Disco Costume Party

Channeling Farrah Fawcett's feather hair and Dorothy Hamill's mad skate skills -- it's time to close down SF Indiefest '11 with the Roller Disco Costume Party, tomorrow night at CELLspace

Avoid the random spurts of hail, wind and rain, and instead, get caught in a storm of retro fury. A crop top, high-waisted spandex shorts, and stripped knee-highs are essentials for roller-rink movin' and groovin'. For some added 70's fever, accessorize with gold jewelry, a silk scarf, and oversized sunglasses. Oh, and don't think we forgot about the most important part -- Black Rock Roller Disco will be onsite with skate rentals.

Look of the Week: Valentine's Day-to-Night

This weekend is all about love, baby. Whether you're single or smitten, make the most of it with this hot Valentine's look that will take you from day to night

No lonely-pants here -- start with a simple yet flirty raspberry dress that can be dressed up or down. For the aww-ensuing wine tasting in Napa, or mimosas and brunch with the girls, casual accessories are key. A playful sunhat, chunky necklace and strappy flats will keep you cool and confident through the day.

Look of the Week: Edwardian Ball 2011

We want you to be belle of the ball, the Edwardian Ball that is. Stroll down to the Regency Ballroom this Friday for the Edwardian World's Faire, and Saturday for the 11th Annual Edwardian Ball, one of SF's most lavish costume parties.

Edwardian fashion is all about prim, high collars, ruffly frocks with oversized sleeves, elaborate hats with cascading plumes, and a whole lot of lace. Now, let's one, two step, and remix that a bit for 2011.
