1. Black Sabbath, "War Pigs"
The heavy metal legends are reuniting for a world tour in 2012 and recording their first new album (to be produced by the legend named Rick Rubin) in 33 years. They dropped this news-bomb on 11/11/11–I had a feeling that was going to be an awesome day! Crank up their classic "War Pigs" and celebrate.

Their Thursday show's been sold out for months and months and months. Tickets are currently on Craigslist for $100 or more. Why?! you might be asking. Well, the French electronic pop act helmed by Anthony Gonzalez puts such immense reverb on everything until it sounds so epic you can't help but sucked into the gorgeous vortex it creates.

Hunchback by Kurt Vile> by Richard
1. Kurt Vile & The Violators, "The Hunchback"
This is easily one of the best epic jams Kurt Vile and his band does (and boy, do they excel at those). Like Crazy Horse in their heyday, once this group gets into the groove, it has a hard time quitting. Once you hear this turned way up, you won't want them to either.

Days by LILAC_MUSIC
1. Lilac, "Days"
San Francisco-based gritty dream-pop act Lilac has been hitting venues in the Bay Area hard lately and having seen the evolution of this trio from their very first show, their attack has increased in intensity ten fold. At the end of "Days", vocalist/guitarist Will Ivy's wails take the song out with a gorgeous bang.
I Look Around, Rain Parade by 7x7SF
2. Rain Parade, "I Look Around"
Because it finally feels like summer in the city. We're rejoicing with this gem from Rain Parade, a band that was part of the 80s Paisley Underground scene in LA. Its 60s-style breezy, floating vocals and searing sitar-inspired guitar hook match the sun that's finally scorching our sidewalks.
