Two Sales for One at SF Design Center this Weekend

Two sales in one? This could be trouble. If you haven't been over to the Design Center in a while, this weekend would be the time to show a little love (and find a few major deals in the process). Starting Saturday at 9AM, showrooms throughout the building will be participating in a major sample sale with furnishings at up to 70% off the retail price. Proceeds from the $10 ticket charge will benefit SF State's Interior Design program and with admission you'll get a coupon for 10% off one item, so go ahead and shop like a designer. Advice From Designers For Your Next Decorating Project

The SF Chron has been tearing it up lately with their Stylemaker Spotlight column. Every week or so a local interior designer is featured, some of whom are up-and-coming, others who've made their mark on the city for a while. In addition to providing a bit of background on how they got into the business, each also hands down some advice on how to decorate your space like a professional. We're particularly loving the 'Cheat Sheet' section, where the designers share their favorite local resources and tips on creating a unique space.
