This Week in Fashion: Simply Chic Launches Online Designer Consignment Shop

Earlier this week, the Chanel-obsessed Marina consignment shop, Simply Chic, launched an online shop offering gently used designer bags and accessories. The select luxury goods are all in good-to-mint condition, and each piece is curated by the owner, May Warren. We took a browse through the constantly growing vintage-to-contemporary collection, and found everything from Lanvin pumps and Hermes watches, to Marni handbags. Take a peek our top picks (above).

7 Must Shop Consignment + Non-Profit Shops for Designer Clothing, Handbags, Shoes and More

With countless weddings, lawn parties and BBQs to attend, who can afford to wear a new designer frock to each event? My secret is consignment. Buy mint-condition pieces for a discounted price, sell your next-to-new goods, and sometimes even help a great charity. Check out these 7 must-shops:

1. Helpers House of Couture:  International style icon and philanthropist, Joy Bianchi, turned her love of fashion and good deeds into this 9-room, 100% charity-driven boutique. It features everything from couture to brand-new, an entire men's room, a jewelry room, and one room where everything is under $100. Not to mention, it was named one of the 10 best fashion stores in Vogue's Best Dressed special edition last year. Prices range from $10-$10,000.

See Lanvin's H&M Collection

Back in September, we confirmed the rumor that H&M's next big designer collaboration would, in fact, be Alber Elbaz for Lanvin. The collection still doesn't hit shelves until November 23, but you can sneak a peak at the entire line in this video The Show.

Confirmed! Lanvin for H&M

Last week's rumors have been confirmed—Alber Elbaz will, in fact, bring Lanvin to H&M as the next big designer collaboration for the Swedish fashion giant. The collection, conceived by Elbaz and Lanvin menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver, will be revealed on H&M's website via a short film on November 2. The line—which spans clothing, jewelry, accessories, shoes and more—will hit 200 stores on November 23. Clear your calendar and start planning your wait-in-line strategy now.
