They're playing a little festival called Outside Lands, which will undoubtedly be the highlight of many a San Franciscan's August (in September, get stoked for Treasure Island time...).  But don't let these behemoths overshadow your August music calendar - there's still a ton of great shows happening around town -  The New Pornographers, Ozomotli, Gnarls Barkley, Steel Pulse, and !!! (Chk Chk Chk), to name a few.  Check our listings and round out your August live music sampling.
