Last week at the Ferry Building, I spotted Sophie and Kelley Hoang -- sisters with two very different styles. Sophie, who was in town from Huntington Beach, had a very LA, beachy-hip look going, while her Kelley was more appropriately dressed for the ever unpredicatble weather we're blessed with in SF.
There were so many great casual looks at Off The Grid Ft. Mason, that it was hard to shoot just one person. In fact, I ended up finding a very stylish Madrid-turned-SF trio: Silvia, a Language Specialist at eBay, looking cute in her blue and yellow; little Leah, 18-months-old, with fantastic hair; Markus, head of SEO at Yahoo!, talk about a swoony dad.
We’re not sure about you, but we’re always intrigued by an opportunity to pay less while sipping bubbly and snagging free goodies. Hence our laser-like focus on Thursday’s SF Shopping Night event, taking place at Mango in the San Francisco Centre.
The big draw, of course, is 30 percent off everything in the store, including the military-inspired separates, wedge platforms and day dresses the label is touting for spring and summer. Further enticement comes in the form of sparkling wine, free Mango military bags for the first attendees and tunes from DJ Sonny Phono.
With Mother's Day only three days away, chances are you've gotten the perfect card and gift taken care of. You even scored brunch reservations at Foreign Cinema to secure your 'favorite daughter' status. The only question left is the inevitable "What am I going to wear?", and if your mom is anything like ours, this sweet ensemble will leave her positively glowing (though it might also have a bit to do with the mimosas).
