The Return of the Pant?

Last weekend’s No Pants Subway Ride convinced many a San Franciscan to drop trou and hit the streets (for evidence, just check out the cheeky results over at Muni Diaries). Commuting sans pants may be getting hype these days, but there’s at least one major reason to embrace pants anew right now: the return of local label Chaiken and Capone, a much-loved San Francisco brand that will resurface this spring after several years off the fashion map.

How Far Will Christopher Collins go on Project Runway?

In the run-up to the premiere of Project Runway Season 8 next week, many San Francisco fashion fans are wondering just how far local designer Christopher Collins will go on the reality show.

By the looks of things, pretty far. Friend and business partner Erica Tanamachi, the creative director for the Christopher Collins label, says she hasn’t heard a peep from Collins since he departed for New York on June 12.

Hey, did you get your tickets? The Tobi blog works on selling tickets to the summer gun show in a recent post about the current dudes-in-tank-tops trend. The disturbing byproduct of this trend? Unsolicited armpit hair sightings outside of trips to the beach or your weird uncle's house. Ew.
