SF Vintners Market

SF Vintner's Market Returns to Fort Mason This Weekend

San Francisco Vintners Market is the original farmers' market for wineries.  We are the world's largest tasting room. This weekend is your chance to try, buy, and walk out the door with your favorite wines. Our "Harvest in the City" celebration will be October 15 and 16th.

Napa's Winery Collectives: Try New Things and Leave Time for Your Favorites

My friends want it all when they come to the wine country. They want to visit all their favorite places but grumble when they’re left with little or no time to discover new things. They want to try limited production wines, brands and varietals their friends haven't heard of, but don’t want to spend the extra bucks on random picks at restaurants or drive to the far reaches of the valley. In the past, my answer to their plights was simply: "Visit more often and stay longer." But there is another solution: Winery collectives and downtown tasting rooms.

The SF Vintners Market Is Back

If you've had a hankering to get out of town for a wine tasting experience lately, you won't have to look any further than Fort Mason this weekend, which brings back the SF Vintners Market for the spring season. They're delivering the vineyards to you (up to 200 of them from Paso Robles to Russian River Valley to Napa, Sonoma and beyond, to be exact), so you can get your wine straight from the source without having to hop in a car and cross any bridges.

This Weekend, the New SF Vintner's Market: You Like It? You Can Buy It

This weekend on November 20-21, a big, shiny new wine event is coming to Fort Mason, just in time for holiday celebrations and present-giving. The SF Vintners Market transforms the pier space into a massive tasting room where over 200 wineries from Napa Valley, Sonoma County, Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Russian River Valley and beyond will be pouring and selling their bottles.
