San Francisco institution Marlowe recently underwent a full face-lift. The original restaurant had been a Townsend Street staple since opening in 2010, but, due to construction issues, they recently moved to a new location (a block away at Fourth Street and Brannan). However, it was discovered the demolition that chased them from their home isn't happening for 2 to 6 years. This revelation gave way for a concept engineered by owners Anna Weinberg and James Nicholas to breathe life.
There’s something so satisfying about adding the finishing touches. Karen and Michael Bene already had all the big furniture pieces necessary for their South Beach one-bedroom, but the space still needed finesse.
From June 23 through July 15, H.D. Buttercup will be hosting their Half Yearly Sale, offering 20-70% off their entire store. The SoMa showroom's frequent turnover of inventory evokes the freshness of a farmers market, with new styles, designs, and collections arriving weekly—sometimes even daily—luring loyal customers back again and again.
The Bay Area's gin fanatics were treated to an early holiday gift when Hendrick's Gin partnered with 7x7 to present the San Francisco edition of their Enchanted Forest of Curiosities. A multi-level raw space in SoMa was magically transformed into one of the most intriguing culturescapes of the season, captivating the city's impassioned gin-erati.
Heavens to Betsy! We posted an invitation to a very very special event with our friends at Hendrick's Gin happening this Thursday, and the response was so... shall we say, healthy... that we simply HAD to offer another night of fun to our dear, dedicated, debauched de-lovelies (yes, we mean you!)
ALERT: THIS EVENT IS AT CAPACITY, WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED THE GUEST LIST IS CLOSED.
EXTRA EVENT ADDED FOR WEDNESDAY DEC 7th, CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO.

Through a storm of Memorial Day shoppers, a swift flash or orange caught my eye. There was Marvin Brooks, a Prada Women's RTW specialist at Neiman Marcus, decked out in Prada, (naturally), and looking oh-so fab.
What he's wearing: Tie-dyed dress shirt, striped square-end tie, dark denim jeans, and chunky blue-green-brown oxford-espadrilles, all from Prada. Vivienne Westwood ring purchased in the London VW store, Prada glasses from Glitter Optics, navy belt from Zara.
San Francisco's Branch is finding a new place to perch. The sustainable design-focused online retailer is packing up its South Van Ness warehouse and easing into a shiny new space South of Market. While details on the new headquarters are limited so far, talk of a showroom and event space planned inside have got our interest piqued.
