Street Style Report
Local copywriter and proud momma Katie N. says she starts every day with "a hug, kiss and high-five–always in that order," from her three-year-old boy. She also said she makes sure to take a little time every morning for herself and likes to dress up, mixing vintage favorites with edgy, modern pieces.
We love how her budget-savvy look (see below) pairs chic black-and-white with a bold pant stripe and fun accent wedges.
Last weekend, we spotted Trinh Nguyen, exiting Nopa after a delectable brunch. (She says the Custard French Toast is a must-order.) Trinh works as a structural engineer and says her style is "super corporate," but we beg to differ. We loved her bright, patterned dress, flawless hair, and her unique, yellow-gold and fancy pink diamond engagement ring (pictured below).
We spotted Jeremy Stoner, leaving his office in a casual Friday get up, near downtown. Jeremy works the 9-to-5 life as a creative director in SF, but his real job is being a full-time dad of four (and part-time bicycle builder) in San Leandro.
We spotted South Korean native, Chloe Park, sporting mixed-layers in the Marina. We love her short and long collars, two-tone coat and colorful sweater.
On a recent stroll through the Ferry Building, we spotted Mathieu Bunin (left) and Miguel Barragan (right), enjoying a Sunday morning coffee. We love the cool layers and how Miguel's rocks his look -- a studded herringbone coat, teal pants, pink suede shoes and a nicely tipped hat -- with such swagger.
We love a healthy dose of black and gold. On a recent visit to Westfield San Francisco Centre, we were dazzled by the flashy yet not overdone looks of Mariah (left) and Sofie (right). Both girls are college students and work as stylists at Michael Kors. We love how their bold outfits are balanced with soft hair and makeup -- and two super sweet smiles.
We spotted the perfectly layered Ellie Choi, on her recent visit to SF.
Ellie works as an accountant in Chicago, and when she's not busy crunching numbers, she indulges in food and fashion. We love how she mixed textures and colors for this wintery concoction.
If you've been holiday shopping near Union Square these past few weekends, you may have seen bagpiper Jim McElroy playing a mix of holiday carols and traditional Scottish music. He draws crowds with both his music and his presence -- his head-to-toe Scottish look is a sight to see, with every button and fold in perfect place.
This week, we headed to Union Square, thinking we'd find stylish holiday shoppers, or perhaps a festive ice skater. Instead we ended up spotting Tobi Becker, a young tourist visiting from Frankfurt. Leave it to Europeans to travel in style. We love the quilting on his leather jacket, and how his look flows from black to brown.
Last weekend, we called upon personal stylist and full-time mom, Kelly Werner, to show us a few holiday party looks. We photographed her with her greatest accessory -- her adorable son, Bey -- at their home in the Mission.
